I know, I know, disclaimers are boring. But it is also necessary for me to put them here and for you to read. After living in this world for a while, I found that common sense is actually not that common. So, here we go:
1) I intend to create this website to share my experiences, thoughts, advices and tips about practising dentistry with newly graduated (newbie) dentists (try to catch up with 20th-C Internet slang, no ill-intended). Hopefully, it will help them navigate their paths in this confusing world of dentistry quickly. Since I am a general dentist with extra-curriculums but not a specialist or the dental God who knows it all, the information on this website should not be taken as absolute truth or the only solution to any situation. I also reserve the right to change my opinions whenever new experiences occur.
2) The information presented on this website is based in Australia. It may not apply to other countries. However, I hope it can still encourage the readers to “think outside the box” and make practising dentistry more stress-free and enjoyable.
3) I did not get paid or endorsed by any individuals or companies for anything I mentioned, recommended, or linked in these blogs. I mentioned them because they worked well in my hands. I cannot guarantee a wonderful and magical experience if the readers decide to use the services or products I mentioned in these blogs.
4) I intended to provide the correct references to the information mentioned on this website that do not originate from me. However, due to the continuous degenerative changes to the neurons in my brain, I am likely to forget or mismatch the original sources of information. I sincerely apologise to the owners and companies that owned the original sources of the information in advance. I will provide the correct reference to the information once they are verified. On that note, I intended to reference the names of the individuals, products or companies that have improved my journey in dentistry. If you want me to keep your name private from the post, please contact me, and I shall remove your name ASAP.
5) I do not intend to insult, defame, or start debates with individuals, groups, or companies. If any blog posts resemble real-life events, it would be coincidental. Please also excuse any political or sexual innuendo. Similarly, I welcome others to comment on my blogs, provided they are respectful and intend to help and support the newbie dentists. I reserve the right to delete comments that are nonconstructive or offensive.
